Joy Fold Card!

Good Morning everyone, I hope you are having a great Memorial day weekend and that you have an extra day off maybe. Today's challenge at Squigglefly is to make a Joy Fold Card. I had planned on using a different image for my card today but them we got called out of town on a family emergency and I didn't have time to work on my card like I wanted to. This card was put together in 20 minutes and you will notice that there is no sewing on it and it's a little crooked. I really love the look of the Joy Fold Card and it is rather simple to make you can find directions HERE. You should head on over to Squigglefly site and see the new releases this week there are some awesome images.
Be blessed today!

Friends and Family Blog Hop!!

Yeah, today is the day!! We at Paperworks Co. are so excited to be having our first Friends and Family Blog hop! If you got here via Sheena's blog then you are in the right place if not than head on back to the Paperworks Co. blog and start again. You really don't want to miss any stops along the way because Peggy is going to pick some names from the comments on everyone's blogs and you are going to win some really nice prizes..

For my card today I decide to use one of the Christmas stamps from the Freckle Stamp Collection, "Charlotte's Holiday Mail" I just love this stamp and it's not just for Christmas, you can use it all winter. I tried to pick a stamp I didn't think anyone else would be using on the hop. I used Fun Flock for the snow on the ground and mailbox and stickles for the flakes falling through the air. I colored with copics. C00, E57,E37,YR000, R20,BG11,BG13,RV02,R24,R22.

Hop on over to Danielle's blog and see her awesome creation! In case you get lost along the way here is the list for the hop.

Final Card From May's Kit.

Can you belive it, it's the last Thursday in May which means it is my last time showing you a project from May's cardkit from Paperworks Co. I have enjoyed working with this kit so much. Today I made a very simple card, at the end of June we will be flying to NY where our whole family will be meeting up for my nephews wedding. I thought I would send this little card of to Ava and Josiah (grandkids) the week before just to remind them we will be seeing them soon. Head on over to the store and check out the Kit, you can still get them for a couple days! Don't forget about our blog hop tomorrow, you will have a chance to win some great prizes!!!

Lots To Talk About Today!

First off today I want to announce that this Friday May 28th, Paperworks Co. is having it's first Friends and Family Blog Hop. Peggy has asked some of our friends to join us as we show off some of the awesome stamps you can get at Paperworks Co.. Peggy has even offered up some great prizes as in Stamp Collections-4 of them I think that you can win just by commenting on the hop, the DT and friends don't even know what blogs she is going to pick the winners from so make sure you comment on all of them.

This little handsome dude I used to make a card for the Catch the Bug challenge. I just love these But-A-Boo Stamps! It is also for the Crafty Creations Challenge to use your favorite stamp/image..Now may I ask you is there anyone out there that just has one favorite stamp? I used one of my favorite Bug-A-Boo Stamps for this one. I colored him with Primacolor pencils and blended with OMS, the paper is from The Paper Studio.
Finally, this card is for today's sketch challenge at SCS. I used Heartfelt Thanks for this one, The Paper is Basic Grey.

Have a great day!

This week the DT was asked to use their favorite image and that was not an easy task, I don't think any of us have just one favorite image. Life is too short....

Isn't that the truth... There is nothing worse than being stuck in traffic other than a slow check out line at the store! I am hooked on the kits, it just makes life so much easier when it comes to making cards! Make sure you head on over to the store and grab the kit before they are gone!

Law Allows Deadly Drivers To Walk Away - Boston News Story - WCVB Boston

Please pray that this law gets passed, this is the car accident that took one beautiful life and almost took our daughters life 8 years ago. Rob's friends and family have been trying to get this law changed since the accident and now finally after 8 years it might happen. Please read the story and click on the movie. That cross at the accident sight is less than a mile from our old house in MA. It was really hard seeing that little red car all smashed up. *Always in our hearts Rob*

It's Monday!!!

That means it is time for a Squigglefly challenge- this week it was to make a bookmark! I am an avid reader but usually don't use bookmarks, I love hard cover book and usually use the jacket flap as my bookmark but when I read a paper back book it is nice to use a bookmark, I usually use what ever scrap of paper I can find. So I made this bookmark for me and kept it simple no ribbons or fibers on the end just a plain jane one. I used one of the newer images from Squigglefly, I just love this frog by Jackie Matthews. Let me tell you about our weekend, on second thought I am not going to cause I will just get flustered... lets just say we have had better ones! I am so glad I got this project done last week otherwise I wouldn't have a project to show you.
Hugs,
Stephanie
